As parents, I believe we an always learn how to relate better to our children, to our partners (whatever the relationship status may be…so why not check out The Modern Village’s Parenting Workshops.
The concept is simple: a continuing education series for parents, dedicated to increasing the social and emotional health of the mothers, fathers, children and caregivers who live in our hyper-connected and increasingly complex modern villages. (Read More after the jump).
The series runs from April 16 to 25, with class topics such as The Anxious Child, Separated, Divorced or Remarried: Now What?, Speech and Language Development in Children, Building Strong Relationships with Your Child’s Caregivers, Utilizing Everyday Experiences to Build Inquiring Young Minds, and Managing Your Family’s Multi-media Consumption.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24 • The Modern Village Presents: Science Surrounds Us — Utilizing Everyday Experiences to Build Inquiring Young Minds, with Thor Snilsberg, Executive Director, CityScience
All Classes are $39.00, 10% discount for pairs. Classes will be held at: the offices of In Good Company, 16 West 23rd Street (4th floor), New York, NY 10010, convenient to the N/R subway, one block from F,M & 6 trains. All classes are held from 7 to 9pm. Doors open at 7. Classes begin promptly at 7:30.
