Evoli Skincare for Babies and Kids

10/22/2015 by The Mama Maven

By contributor Jennifer Babich

We’re into fall now,  but the havoc that summer wreaked on my kids’ skin remains. While many kids suffer from eczema flare ups in the dry winter, my girls seem to have it worse in the summer. Sweaty skin causes flare ups, heat rash and scratching. Those factors combined with sunscreen, bug spray, bare feet in crocs, and scraped knees do not leave my kids with baby soft skin by the time fall rolls around. So I was all too happy to try a line of skin care called Evoli (spell it backwards to figure out the name).

Evoli

I received a few different products and I was certainly glad that I gave them a try!  All of the products have an extremely pleasant and subtle scent that I could not place my finger on, but I would describe as something in the butter cream or frosting family.  They come in adorable packaging with differently baby friendly images such as rocking horses or ducks on the containers rendering them baby shower gift friendly. This line is truly luxurious pampering and is priced well beyond most of the other products.

My  favorite product in the line is the Baby Bottom Comfort Cream. The extremely thick formula is packaged in a small plastic jar.  When I tried it I was actually surprised at the nearly solid, buttery texture.  After two days of sparingly applying this to my baby’s bottom I was left with jaw dropping results.  Every last speck of redness, patchiness, heat and diaper rash completely disappeared. I was truly astonished at the effectiveness, especially since the cream was so much more pleasant smelling and supple than any of the other creams I have tried. Even during long car seat and stroller rides on the very hot days these past few weeks, my daughter’s skin remained flawless. I literally undid months worth of diaper area damage in 2 days after trying everything off the pharmacy shelves since May!

I also used the Baby Soft Cream. This tube of cream is a moisturizer to be used all over the baby’s body or face that helps strengthen skin’s natural barriers and leaves it nice and soft. I applied the same delicious smelling cream to my daughter’s rough ankles and wrists (an area of familiarity to all parents of eczema kids) and it definitely left her skin a bit softer. I thought the formula felt a bit greasy at first, but it quickly absorbed into my daughter’s skin without a trace. I find myself reaching for it constantly as my hands feel great after applying it to the baby! I am not sure if it is the scent, the feeling or the formula, but this is the only lotion my baby has tolerated after bath without screaming in months!

I washed my daughters with Evoli’s Baby All Over Foaming Wash in the bath. Once again, I was greeted with the pleasant scent. The pump dispenses a foamy, mousse like bath wash that cleanses and smoothes skin and hair.  I found that while it lathered quickly, the suds quickly disappeared requiring me to pump onto a loofa or in my hands a few times to wash a little body.

Evoli’s luxurious line of products is elegant, effective and pampering. The products are beautifully designed and packaged. I would personally splurge on the diaper cream because of the remarkable results. The other products are so lovely that I would definitely say that they are worth trying or giving as beautiful baby gifts.

Buy on their website — they are located Thailand, but you can order in US dollars and get them shipped right to your door. Go here: http://www.evolibrand.com

We were sent samples of the products. All opinions are our own.
