I’m jetting off to Miami in a few days, but I have to make sure I have everything set for my family to take care of my children. I also wanted to find the perfect sheer red lip gloss to complete my look. Before I went to shop at my local Duane Reade, I looked up their Happy and Healthy Magazine (with Fergie on the cover). Immediately, the Well Beginnings line of baby products caught my eye. I have to make sure I have my house stocked with diapers for my two year old and I was curious to see how the Well Beginnings works. (Read More after the jump).
After I dropped my daughter at school, I left my car by her school and walked to the closest Duane Reade (parking is really hard to find in Forest Hills).
I picked up the Happy and Healthy Magazine. I love that there were two pages of coupons.
My first stop was over to the baby section to check out the Well Beginnings line.
I saw the diapers and picked up 2 packages of my son’s size for $13.18. I can’t wait to try them out and see if they are comparable to the brand I usually use for my toddler.
I also picked up Well Beginning’s Baby Wash. I liked that it is paraben free and phlthalate free.
I discovered Ology during one of my trips to Duane Reade in the winter. The dish liquid had a sweet deal: buy 1, get 50 % off.
The Happy and Healthy magazine had a coupon for the Delish Coffee. I couldn’t resist buying a package of the Vanilla Light Roast for $5.49.
Next, I went on a search for a red lip gloss. I checked out the Rimmel Stay Glossy, but I didn’t want any metallic in there. Just a sheer, light red. I found an option in Covergirl’s Smoochies Lip Gloss.
I picked up a gallon of milk (I love that Duane Reade had so many choices). They carry almond milk, LACTAID Brand, organic milk….
I picked up some Amlactin Ultra cream to try on my toddler (we both have Keratosis Pilarsis).
I also picked up some LACTAID Fast Act, so I can eat dairy when I’m down in Miami (I’ve been having problems with lactose lately).
I like using my Balance Rewards Card when I shop at Duane Reade (it also works at Walgreens – owned by the same company). I store mine on my iPhone’s passbook. I’ll admit I’m more apt to buy something if I can get Balance Rewards from it.
