When I first found out I was pregnant with my daughter I was both excited and overwhelmed. It seemed like everybody had an opinion about what I needed to buy and what I could live without. Needless to say, baby stuff still took over our one bedroom apartment. Now that I have two kids it makes me laugh to think about all the stuff that I thought I needed. The second time around with my son I found a new love for well made baby products that serve multiple purposes. Recently I was introduced to the Burpa Bib made by Bambini Ware. Not only do I love the Burpa Bib, but I get compliments on it every time someone sees me using it.
The cool thing about the Burpa Bib is that it combines a bib and a burp cloth into one product. One of the worst parts about leaving the house with a new baby is packing the diaper bag; two kids and three years later I am still always forgetting something. The Burpa Bib is awesome because it means less to pack. Besides the fact that the design of the Burpa Bib allows it to serve multiple purposes, it has a few other key features that I really appreciate.
The length of the Burpa Bib helps it serve as a burp cloth, but it also gives extra protection when your baby is older and eating actual food. Here it is on my one year old and my three year old!
The collar is another important feature of the Burpa Bib and allows for the closest fit possible, which means less mess and less soiled clothing. The collared neck has two Velcro fasteners that allow for adjustment and as you can see the Burpa Bib fits both kids perfectly. I recently had both kids wear their Burpa Bibs at Thanksgiving dinner, and there was not a single food stain on either kid. Both of the Grandmas were amazed!
Apart from the functionality, the quality of the Burpa Bib far exceeds the quality of other bibs and burp clothes that I have had for the children throughout the years. It is reversible, thicker and extra absorbent, and is machine washable.
I highly recommend the Burpa Bib. As a bib it is awesome, but as a Burp Cloth AND Bib you really can’t go wrong. I only wish that the Burpa Bib was around when my daughter was a baby, she was always spitting up and it would have saved so many outfits! I have no negative feedback about the Burpa Bib except that I wish it was offered in Bambini’s Preppy and Argyle prints; although I will admit that I am in love with the Saturday Seersucker prints.
