You can start them off by teaching them to pick up their toys or clear their dishes and then gladly move on to even more chores as they become older.

I think that it is incredibly important to teach our children the importance of picking up after themselves. I started teaching my son the second he learned how to walk with “clean up time.” It didn’t happen right away but fast forward a few years I’m so glad that I did!
