Every year I end up with a big list of school supplies to buy. My daughter’s going into first grade and my oldest son is going into third grade. So, where do I go? Staples!
I had to miss their fun Back to School Blogger event this year, but they graciously sent me some trendy school supplies and a gift card to get a jumpstart on my school supply shopping.
My four year old (who’s in the magical land of preschool didn’t need any supplies, but came with me shopping anyway).
Love the bin O’ bargains! I was agog.
I immediately snapped up glue sticks (my kids go through an insane amount of these). I got the maximum amount allowed — 6 4 packs @ $1.25 each. If you buy more than 6 packages, the price goes up to $2.49 each.
Crayola fine markers for 97 cents? Yes, please.
24 crayons for 50 cents a package!
Since I needed to buy computer paper, I was excited to see a easy rebate Hammermill Copy Paper.
I picked up some erasers.
Checked out some cute tech. Right now my kids share my iPad and iPhone — if we do get them their own devices, we’d need a cute and protective cases.
I was thrilled to see Packit on the shelves, as we use the Robots lunch bag for my youngest son’s lunch.
I picked up several more pairs of scissors (we always seem to need new ones every year).
I picked up several notebooks at the price of 50 cents each.
And filler paper for 82 cents.
I found a pack of 5 Post-its for $5.
So, we’re ready for Back to School! Thanks Staples!
