Everyone has one of “those days” once in a while where everything seems to go wrong. Little things just add up and it all blows out of proportion. The best-selling children’s book “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” deals specifically with that issue and helps put things in perspective. The book has been made into a musical by the same name which is playing on January 12th at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts, as part of the Target Storybook Series.
Everyone will be able to relate to Alexander’s misadventures in this hilarious adaptation. Book and lyrics are written by Judith Viorst, who is also the author of the book (along with many other books). The show is appropriate for kids ages 4 and up.
