My 4-year-old took soccer classes this summer and now he’s hooked! He’s obsessed with anything soccer and loves watching it on TV. We thought it would be fun to take him to an actual live game. Turns out The New York Cosmos, a professional soccer team that play in the North American Soccer League (NASL) have very affordable tickets to their games. We recently went to a home game in Long Island and enjoyed the festive atmosphere you can only find at a soccer game!
The games are held at Hofstra University and there’s plenty of parking (for only $5). We got the Family Pack, which includes 4 tickets to great seats, plus two backpacks. This deal starts at $98 and saves you 20% off regular-priced tickets. We had seats that were very close to the field and we were able to see very well. The backpacks we got were awesome! We loved the colors and quality!
This was our view from our seats. The stadium is pretty small – there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
The game itself was fun to watch and the atmosphere was even better with the constant chants and the beating of the drums throughout the game. The cheerleaders added to the excitement and at certain points we felt like we were at a party! My son’s eyes lit up in pure joy. He was paying attention to the entire game and I could see the excitement in his eyes as he was taking a part in the festive atmosphere.
Regular Tickets start at $15. Call 855-71-COSMOS for tickets.
Location: James M. Shuart Stadium
Hofstra University

Visit the New York Cosmos to learn more and purchase tickets to their next game. (The last home game is October 20th)
I was not compensated for this post. I received a Family Pack.
