Box Tops for Education Pantry Stock Up (+ Giveaway) – CLOSED
Does your child’s school participate in Box Tops for Education? Most likely you send the box tops into your child’s school. What you may not know is that since 1996, when the program was launched, Box Tops for Education has earned more than $525 million for schools across the country. Which is pretty amazing, right?
This program from General Mills began as an experiment on boxes of Cheerios in California and has now grown to include more than 240 participating brands providing needed cash for the 90,000 enrolled K-8 schools. To celebrate this milestone, the program is offering a variety of bonus Box Tops on more than 50 millions packages at grocery stores and btfe.com, allowing shoppers to double their earnings for their schools with select products.
On average, most schools earn $900, but some have earned more than $20,000 per year by clipping Box Tops, participating in bonus programs and shopping at 300 online eBoxTops retailers. These retailers include Buy Buy Baby, 1800 Flowers, Macy’s, The Children’s Place, The Apple Store.. etc.. where I know I shop online regularly (and I’m sure you do too).
Connect with Box Tops for Education:
In honor of this milestone, General Mills sent me a box full of products with Box Tops for Education on them, in return for spreading the word about this. Also, I get to give away the same box that I got!
A lot of brands I love were in the box; Life Should Taste Good, Green Giant, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Scott Tissue, Betty Crocker, General Mills Cereal, and Progresso (to name a few). The favorite item was the Peanut Butter Toast Crunch Cereal – every one of us flipped over it.
I also loved this: Avery’s Removable Peel and Stick Dry Erase Weekly Calendar.. Which will help with menu planning (I can just stick it on the fridge).
