In the midst of holiday shopping, parties, eating great food and everything else that happens during this magical season, take time out to see a show that’s no less magical: Mummenschanz! A blend of bizarre masks and forms and light and shadow, it is a timeless mime performance that transcends cultural boundaries. (Read more after the jump)
Mummenschanz is celebrating its 40 year anniversary with a world tour. In the show there will be a mix of old favorites as well as some stunning new creations, using creative manipulations of sculptural, expressive masks. The show is recommended for ages 6 and up. It is is two hours long, with an intermission. Hurry and get tickets this holiday season – last performance in NYC is on January 6th!
